资源简介:
The aim of this study was to determine the influence of host phylogeny on the various facets of the mussel microbiome (taxonomic, phylogenetic, and functional; as defined in Escalas et al., 2013) by characterizing the gut bacterial communities across eight freshwater species, covering three distinct phylogenetic tribes, including a threatened (Tritogonia verrucosa) and federally endangered species (Pleurobema decisum). Additionally, we investigated the correlation between these three different facets of the microbiome and host biological traits.
