Calibrated Physics Ensemble (CPE) for SHOC in DP-SCREAM: Posterior-Representative Runs

This dataset contains the Calibrated Physics Ensemble (CPE) of 200 posterior-representative DP-SCREAM runs used to evaluate a calibration framework for the SHOC turbulence scheme. The ensemble is derived by clustering post–burn-in MCMC samples of the nine SHOC parameters (normalized to unit range) and selecting cluster medoids with weights as posterior representatives for diurnal convective regimes at ARM SGP (i.e., CASS fair-weather shallow cumulus, composite). Each run uses the DP-SCREAM (doubly-periodic configuration of Simple Cloud Resolving E3SM Atmospheric Model) configuration and common forcings; outputs include standard variables supporting calibration and evaluation of w′² and cloud boundaries (CBH, CTH).
