Within and between-session reliability of isometric strength and speed measures in adolescent female athletes: evidence of maturity specific differences in both reliability and performance

Based on the limited existing literature around the reliability of contemporary measures of explosive strength and sprint performance in adolescent females, this study has three clear aims: a) establish within- and between-session reliability of the IMTP, sprint performance and MSS in adolescent females; b) investigate whether the reliability of these performance markers is stable across different stages of biological maturation, and c) highlight maturity-specific differences in explosive strength and speed measures. It is anticipated that all protocols will provide at least moderate within and between-session reliability and that this will be stable across various stages of biological maturation
