H65 brass foil with a thickness of 10 μ m is cut into sizes of 25 mm × 40 mm. The two ends of the foil are connected to a transient Joule heating device using copper electrodes. Then seal the sample in a vacuum chamber with a pressure of 20Pa. When the switch is closed, the capacitor releases a large current, instantly generating a large amount of heat on the sample. VPD is used to convert brass samples into nanoporous copper. Only capacitors and charging voltage can control the output of transient Joule heaters. In this work, FUSE method 22 was used to determine the different charging voltages of each capacitor to ensure that the final temperature reached by the sample was close. All de alloyed products must be rinsed with 0.1M HCl and deionized water. Then it must be dried and stored for future use. De alloyed products have been used as current collectors in lithium-ion battery assembly for performance testing. The obtained product was compared with commercial lithium-ion batteries made of copper foil and used as a current collector for assembling lithium-ion batteries.
