Short-term depletion of nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunits in Drosophila enterocytes
收藏资源简介:
Bulk RNAseq from whole Drosophila melanogaster guts expressing either mCherry-RNAi (control) or RNAi against nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunits Ã1 and Ã3 (nAchRÃ1 and nAchRÃ3) under control of a enterocyte-specific driver to assess their role in barrier function. Overall design: NP1::Gal4, tubGa80ts was used as a driver to induce mCherry (Bloomington line BL 35785), nAchRÃ1(VDRC line v33825, pruned) or AchRÃ3 (VDRC line v42742, pruned), knockdown by RNAi in enterocytes. Knockdown was induced for 3 days by shifting adult mated female flies (5 days old) to the permissive temperature (29ºC). 4 replicates were included for each genotype, consisting of 25 dissected whole midguts guts each (crop, malpighian tubules and hindgut were removed).
