China’s Economic Initiative Review. A Hierarchical Approach on China’s Domination or Authority

The empirical analysis is based on an original mapping of China's economic initiative across the world since 2013. The research is built on several institutions' databases and institutional reports analyses to unveil China's strategic political direction, Domination or Authority, in a hierarchical view of power relation. The analysis is based on Belt and Road's development and feasibility to extract the economic-political externalities of the project. Furthermore, the analyzes revealed new data that included quantitative counts of the categories central to the project, and qualitatively supported by experts in the field. This mapping helps reveal China's strategic direction and growing global influence, which could fuel a more assertive competition between the values that underlie the western order.
