资源简介:
Between November 30, 2007 and January 10, 2008, the Swedish Icebreaker Oden traveled between Punta Arenas, Chile and McMurdo Station, Antarctica. Along the way, primarily in the Amundsen and Ross Seas, an international team of investigators collected 76 CTD profiles at 31 stations. In addition to conductivity, temperature, and depth, selected water samples were collected by Niskin bottles and analyzed for a suite of biogeochemical inventories and rates, including nutrients, inorganic carbon, oxygen, chlorophyll, particulate organic matter, bacterial abundance, viral abundance, bacterial production, community respiration, and plankton community stucture. Utimately, all the data from the cruise will be compiled in this single data set. This research was supported by NSF grant ANT-0741409.
