EMA–EC ATC Metadata Concordance Audit

This archive accompanies a record-level audit of ATC coding across the European Commission Union Register and EMA medicine data. It contains the frozen source snapshots from 26 July 2026, the processed study cohort, SmPC adjudication tables, analysis code, and the figures used in the study. The final analysis included 1,331 medicines. Seventy-five showed substantive disagreement between the two structured sources, and 69 of those cases could be resolved using the current Summary of Product Characteristics.
