Prevalence and Predictive Factors for Vitamin D Deficiency During Early and Late Pregnancy: A Retrospective Cohort Study

The dataset comprises anonymized clinical data collected retrospectively from 873 pregnant women who presented for antenatal care and delivery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). The dataset captures both early gestation (before 20 weeks) and late gestation (20 weeks and beyond) measurements of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25OHD) levels, along with associated maternal characteristics, obstetrical history, and demographic factors. The primary focus of the study is on identifying the prevalence of VDD (defined as 25OHD <20 ng/mL) and assessing key predictors of deficiency throughout pregnancy.
