EmeraldData is a semi-synthetic benchmark dataset for evaluating greenwashing detection systems. It contains 620 corporate sustainability claims, each annotated with a ground-truth label indicating whether the claim constitutes greenwashing or non-greenwashing. The dataset is designed to support the development, fine-tuning, and evaluation of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and knowledge-based reasoning models. Each instance is paired with structured metadata and supporting evidence references, enabling transparent, reproducible, and justification-aware assessment of automated sustainability claim verification systems.
