Utilization data of Azadirachta indica leaf powder (Neem) as an adsorbent to remove nine trace metals from Aqueous solutions.

Given the urgent need to save the environment from chemicals used in the water treatment process, natural alternatives were essential to remove suspended matters such as chemicals, and other suspended particles. Recently, some plant leaves were utilized as an adsorbent matter for trace metals from the aqueous medium. Azadirachta indica (Neem) leaves one of the natural resources that demonstrated effectiveness to remove some trace metals from aqueous solutions. In this study, five treatments were examined to observe the effect of particle size (<63µm, 250µm) and weight differences (0.1 g. L-1, 0.5 g. L-1) on removing nine trace metals from the aqueous solutions. Analysis of variance (One-way ANOVA) test was characterized by a significant variation (P > 0.05 at 95% confidence interval) between treatments.
鉴于亟需消除水处理工艺用化学药剂对环境造成的负面影响,开发可去除水体中化学污染物及其他悬浮颗粒的天然替代方案已成当务之急。近期已有研究将植物叶片用作水介质中痕量金属的吸附剂。印楝(Azadirachta indica)叶片便是此类天然资源之一,已被证实可有效去除水溶液中的部分痕量金属。本研究设置五组处理方案,考察了粒径(<63μm、250μm)与投加量差异(0.1 g·L⁻¹、0.5 g·L⁻¹)对水溶液中九种痕量金属去除效果的影响。单因素方差分析(One-way ANOVA)结果表明,各组处理间存在显著差异(95%置信区间下P>0.05)。
