Genomic and functional characterization of clinical isolates of Bartonella spp. causing Carrion's disease in Peru

The objective of this study is to characterize genomically and functionally Bartonella spp. isolates from different endemic areas of Peru to study their virulence and evolutionary relationships using microbiological, molecular, bioinformatics, and functional assays to see their differences and similarities at both levels.
