This series comprises hand written volumes which detail the routine running of the Liverpool Fire Station recording fires and fire attendance, training exercises (drills), equipment inspections, turnouts, and station parades, along with special events such as the retirement of long serving fire fighters. From July 1993, when Fire Records Books ceased to be maintained, Occurrence Books became the main record of daily activity at country fire stations.The time of each event or the notification time for each incident is logged with description of the occurrence and the names of personnel responding also listed. Special items, Hours, Minutes and Occurrences are all listed as columns.An electronic occurrence books rollout commenced from July 2012 for Metropolitan stations and was completed in October 2012. The regional stations rollout commenced in February 2013 and concluded in September 2013. Physical occurrence books are no longer generated. (1)Endnote 1. 本数据集系列包含多份手写卷宗，详细记录了利物浦消防站的日常运作情况，内容涵盖火灾处置与出勤、训练演习（演练）、装备巡检、出警出动及站务列队仪式等事项，同时收录资深消防员退休等特殊事件。1993年7月，火灾记录册（Fire Records Books）停止维护，此后事件记录册（Occurrence Books）成为乡村消防站日常运作的主要记录载体。
每起事件的发生时间或接警时间均会被完整记录，同时附带事件详情与出警人员姓名列表。特殊事项、小时、分钟及事件条目均以列项形式呈现。
2012年7月起，都市消防站开始上线部署电子事件记录册，并于同年10月完成全部部署；区域消防站的电子记录册上线工作则于2013年2月启动，同年9月收尾。自此，纸质事件记录册不再生成。
