Climatology of storm characteristics for sub-daily heavy precipitation in the Greater Alpine Region: Data

Information on storm characteristics analyzed in Dallan et al. (2025, preprint) is provided for 394 meteorological stations across the Great Alpine Region. A detailed overview of the file structure and variable definitions can be found in Description_database.docx. Each .csv file contains results computed for a different subset of storms, indicated in the filename: all storms, top 10% intensity storms, top 5%, top 2%, and storms generating Annual Maxima precipitation (AM).
