NRS-21482 | Special Staff Committee/Staff Committee minutes [Ku-Ring-Gai Council]

This series contains the minutes and reports of the Special Staff Committee sitting in the Committee of the Whole within Ku-ring-gai Council.In order to discuss confidential business, Council could form itself into the Committee of the Whole during a meeting. A Committee of the Whole was not required to make its' business public through the minutes, only its' recommendations. The Special Staff Committee consisted of the Mayor and aldermen. Matters dealt with by the Committee include staff establishment and appointments, conditions of employment, disciplinary matters, payments of gratuity, resignations, and remuneration. Many of the minutes are stamped as confidential as they cover employment information for individual members of staff.The decisions of each Committee meeting were recorded and bound into volumes. One volume appears to be compiled later. It covers 1989-1990 and the binding is not consistent with the volumes covering 1986-1990 and 1991-1995. The volumes are typescript and are arranged chronologically. The Special Staff Committee minutes first appear in 1974. From 1974-1988 they are incorporated into the main series of Council minutes. 历次委员会会议的决议均被记录归档并装订成册，其中一册为后期汇编而成，涵盖1989-1990年的档案，其装帧样式与1986-1990年、1991-1995年的档案册不一致。
所有档案册均为打字稿，并按时间顺序排列。特别职员委员会的会议纪要最早可追溯至1974年，1974-1988年期间的相关纪要均被并入议会会议纪要主系列中。
