Sediment Cores in Barataria Bay, Louisiana: a RESTORE funded project

The data provided in this spreadsheet was collected as part of a RESTORE Act funded project. We present bulk density, water content, percent organic material, and percent organic carbon content for 7 cores taken from Barataria Bay, Louisiana -- the site of the future mid-Barataria sediment diversion. Note that only cores 602292001, 602292002, 602202003, and 602292010 have percent organic material values, as they were the only cores that loss on ignition was performed alongside elemental analysis for total organic carbon content.
