Australian Emergency Management perspectives on disaster risk reduction approaches to build community resilience - Interview transcripts

Semi structured interviews with higher level of disaster management or policy experience.This qualitative study used semi structured interviews to explore current perspectives of Emergency Management experts on prevention and disaster risk reduction in building community resilience. The setting was examining the perspectives of professionals working at both strategic and operational contexts within emergency management agencies in Australia. Purposeful sampling was used to identify 16 experts with at least five years’ experience within the Australian Emergency Management sector.<br>
