China (2013): Routine Behavioral Tracking (RBT) Measuring Consistent Condom Use, Use of VCT, and Use of STI Testing and Treatment Services among Men Who Have Sex with Men (MSM) in Kunming and Nanning. Round 2.

The purpose of the behavioral tracking survey among MSM is to provide monitoring information from the baseline in 2010 for USAID-supported MSM interventions in Yunnan and Guangxi provinces in China. Data gathered will be used to report against key monitoring indicators and to provide program donor and local partner organizations with a comprehensive evidence base for further work with MSM. Based on lessons learned from the MSM & FSW RBT surveys conducted in 2010, respondent-driven sampling (RDS) method will be used to recruit respondents, which is a representative method to reach more hard-to-reach population beyond MSM gathering venues or congregation sites which would allow easy access to MSM. Coupon numbers will be linked to the questionnaire code, and the RDS Analysis Toolkit (RDSAT) will be used to adjust the estimation of the total population.
