Hippoglossus hippoglossus (Atlantic halibut) long- and short read genomics data. Hippoglossus hippoglossus

We used nanopore sequencing in combination with Illumina sequencing of 10X Genomics Chromium-, paired-end- and HiC libraries to generate a chromosome-scale assembly of the Atlantic halibut. To identify and characterize the sex chromosomes we sampled and extracted and pooled DNA from ten full siblings of each sex and sequenced these using Illumina HiSeq sequencing. We also generated RNA-seq data was from 12 individuals covering three developmental stages.
