WGS of Alpinia ligulata

This project generates genomic resources for Alpinia ligulata, including whole genome sequencing (WGS), simple sequence repeat (SSR) marker identification, and chloroplast genome characterization. The nuclear genome was sequenced and assembled to provide baseline data for genomic studies and marker development. SSR loci were identified to support future population genetics, breeding, and conservation applications. The chloroplast genome was assembled to improve species identification, phylogenetic analysis, and comparative studies within the genus Alpinia and the family Zingiberaceae.
