Organic Lake, Vestfold Hills, bathymetry

A dataset detailing bathymetry readings for Organic Lake in the Vestfold Hills. The measurements were made by John Rich in November of 2008.As per 2006 work on Ace, Pendant and Ekho, eastings and northings are abbreviated metric map grid co-ordinates. All measurements made through the ice with weighted measuring tape and measured from top of sediment to standing water level in each hole.Depths are in metres.Also determined new levels for Organic and Ace Lakes as follows:Organic Lake (Nov 08 2008) +1.886 (Reference NMV / S / 53)Ace Lake (Nov 22 2008) +8.953 (Reference NMV / S / 75)The Ace Lake data indicates a drop in level of 0.141m since my last measurement in May 2006.本数据集详细记录了韦斯特福尔德丘陵（Vestfold Hills）区域内有机湖（Organic Lake）的水深测量数据。本次测量工作由约翰·里奇（John Rich）于2008年11月完成。 参照2006年针对Ace湖（Ace）、彭南特湖（Pendant）与埃科湖（Ekho）开展的相关研究，本次测量所使用的东向、北向坐标均为简化公制地图网格坐标。 所有测量均通过冰上钻孔开展，使用配重卷尺进行，测量值为每个钻孔内沉积物顶面至积水水位的垂直距离，水深单位为米。 本次研究还测定了有机湖与Ace湖的最新水位，具体信息如下： 有机湖（2008年11月）：+1.886（参考基准：NMV / S / 53） Ace湖（2008年11月22日）：+8.953（参考基准：NMV / S / 75） Ace湖的测量数据显示，相较于笔者2006年5月的末次测量结果，该湖水位下降了0.141米。
