The unique root form and function on the Tibetan Plateau

This dataset supports the findings of our manuscript, "The unique root form and function on the Tibetan Plateau," accepted for publication in New Phytologist. The data were collected from three field experiments conducted in the alpine meadow-steppe ecotone in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau. These experiments were designed to investigate the variations in absorptive root traits across plant species in the alpine meadow-steppe ecotone in the northeastern Tibetan Plateau.
