Time-lapse microscopy of mouse oocytes injected with a cRNA encoding YFP-TPX2 (targeting protein for Xenopus kinesin-like protein, xklp2), expressed at high levels. Up is the transmitted light and bottom corresponds to the YFP signal. Images were taken every 15 minutes. Times after the resumption of meiotic maturation and germinal vesicle breakdown (GVBD) are indicated in the lower left corner.
