Paper This repository provides data and code associated with the study “Climate-induced shifts in plant investment strategies regulate ecosystem carbon cycling across alpine grasslands”, published in Journal of Ecology. Further details on vegetation data and carbon flux data used in this manuscript are described in the data paper (Vandvik et al., 2022) and are available at the FunCaB Open Science Framework (OSF) data repository (Vandvik & the FunCaB Project Team, 2021). The plant functional trait data can be found at the Vestland Climate Grid OSF data repository (Vandvik & and the Vestland Climate Grid and SeedClim Project Teams, 2021). Description of subdirectories data Climate: data on mean summer temperatures and mean annual preciptation across the Vestland Climate Grid script for creating supplementary figure 1 Cflux_vegetation_traits_data R object containing data on vegetation composition, plant functional traits and carbon flux csv file on model outputs for climatic effects on diversity measures and plant functional traits R object with outputs from imputation model for lacking plant functional trait data Bayesian_Hierarchical_Model_output summeries of model outputs used for tables and figures code Contains analyses scripts and script for creating figures.
