Transcriptome sequencing of five different Alsophila species from Hainan, China

Five Alsophila species native to Hainan, China (A. spinulosa [SL], A. gigantea [BSL], A. podophylla [HSL], A. gigantea [DYHSL], and A. latebrosa [YSSL]), mixed tissues of root;stem;leaf;sporophyll were subjected to full-length transcriptome sequencing via PacBio Sequel III platform, with Illumina short-read data employed for error correction. These genomic resources facilitate future investigations into differential expression, functional gene identification, and genetic diversity of local tree fern populations.
