Dryland soil Raw sequence reads

This project seeks to examine the spatial distribution of microbial diversity in drylands on a global scale. DNA is extracted from surface soil in a variety of arid and semi-arid habitats. This study was conducted in the context of arid habitats increasing in extent due to climate change, and to determine the potential ecological consequences of this change.
