The integrative and multi-omics view of changes upon FOXG1 reduction reveals an unprecedented multimodality of FOXG1 functions converging on neuronal maturation, fueling novel therapeutic options based on epigenetic drugs to alleviate, at least in part, neuronal dysfunctions. This RNA-seq dataset is part of tis multimodal invetigation of FOXG1 functions. Overall design: Cells were treated with shLuciferase (control) or shFoxg1 for the knockdown of expression of Foxg1, followed by either HDAC inhibitor TSA or control DMSO treatment. Bulk RNA-seq was performed in DIV11 hippocampal neurons from mice to investigate (i)the effect of Foxg1 KD on mature hippocampal neurons, (ii) interaction between FOXG1 and HDACs in transcriptional control.
