Data used for the completion of the dissertation titled "Wave Induced Vertical Pore Pressure Gradients at Sandy Beaches" by Matthew Florence from Virginia Tech. Contains data related to scour measurements around slender piles in Mexico Beach, FL following Hurricane Michael, sediment and pore pressure measurements in Duck, NC during Tropical Storm Melissa, and beach bed elevation and pore pressure measurements at Duck, NC during calm conditions. Pore pressure and sediment measurements at three beaches in Yakutat, AK (Point Carrew, Ocean Cape, Cannon Beach).
