资源简介:
In the course of the Santa Cruz River Bank Stabilization Project, Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) and San Xavier District personnel identified human remains exposed in the Santa Cruz river bank which would be impacted by the construction. At the request of Reclamation, Archaeological Consulting Services, Ltd (ACS), recovered the remains in a manner consistent with the wishes of the local community, as well as addressing scientific standards. Four inhumations, one cremation, a single unidentified bone fragment, and one exposure consisting of two artifacts were excavated. All remains were transferred to the San Xavier District monitors at the end of each work day for reburial.
