COLOR PERCEPTION
The perception of color originates in the eye and culminates in the occipital lobe of the brain. This mechanism, which enables us to perceive our surroundings, corresponds to energy that is often electromagnetic. However, when we shut our eyes and apply pressure to the eyeball, we see little stars or color blobs. We provide enough energy to the visual organ to activate the visual process. Our perception of color is subjective, and several circumstances influence our interpretation of colors. These circumstances can include lighting conditions, cultural associations, and even personal experiences. As a result, two individuals may perceive the same color quite differently, leading to a rich tapestry of interpretations in art and design.
