CTD cast data from the ORCHESTRA cruise JR18004 in the Scotia Sea, January to February 2019.

This is a dataset of conductivity-temperature depth (CTD) data collected during the JR18004 cruise onboard RRS James Clark Ross, around Orkney Passage and Discovery Bank in the Scotia Sea of the Southern Ocean. The data were collected in January and February 2019 as part of the ORCHESTRA research programme, and supported both mooring servicing in Orkney Passage and an experiment to understand the impact of undersea topography on circulation in the Weddell-Scotia confluence.
