Provides a vivid description of going over the top and crossing no man's land. Some of the imagery is repeated in his poem 'The Show' and used in Pat Barker's 'Regeneration'. Finishes with an elaborate pseudo-biblical parable. This is letter no. 510 in Ed. 'Wilfred Owen Collected Letters'.
