Dataset of material characterization of carbon nitride materials and their performance for arsenic remediation in water

This dataset was used in the main text figures of the Separation and Purification Technology publication https://doi.org/10.1016/j.seppur.2025.132941. We prepared reference carbon nitride material and a modified carbon nitride that possessed surface positive charges. We evaluated the performance of these materials for arsenic water remediation. We compared performance for both As(III) and As(V) species, and performed remediation tests in dark and light conditions.
