Maturation of oral microbiome during teeth eruption: A longitudinal study

This research aimed to illustrate the saliva and supragingival plaque microbiome development with gradual primary teeth eruption. Twenty-one healthy infants were followed up for three years and the caries-free children were recruited. Saliva and supragingival plaque samples were collected at five and four particular dentition states, respectively.
