“Large Health Equipment” monitoring

Through the Health Equipment Application of the Ministry of Health’s NSIS Platform, information is collected on the location, general characteristics, configuration, acquisition, activation and management of large health equipment (TAC, MRI, Linear Accelerator, Mammograph, Gamma Camera, CT/Gamma Camera Systems, Angiograph, Robotic Systems for endoscopic surgery, TAC/PET Systems) used in public health facilities. The monitoring, carried out on an annual basis, is carried out by requiring the SSR companies to enter on the NSIS Platform all the large equipment in use at the competent health facilities and the related information requested by the same Platform for each equipment.
