Panel Dataset of National-Level Determinants of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Inflows

This dataset contains a panel of national-level determinants of foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows for Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia (Baltic States) over the period 2004–2022. The data are compiled from international sources, namely the World Bank, Eurostat, The Global Economy, and Our World in Data. The dataset is organized in a country–year panel format and includes indicators grouped into nine dimensions: political stability and juridical security; government effectiveness and corruption; infrastructure availability and quality; economic potential; human resources and skills; research and innovation; tax and business environment; resource availability; and sustainability orientation. The dataset is designed to support empirical and causal analysis of FDI determinants, including applications in econometrics and machine learning.
