Symbiont community dynamics in out-planted Acropora palmata

This project identified symbiont profiles in Acropora palmata corals raised in an ex situ nursery before out planting to nine natural reef sites in the Florida Keys. Then identified symbiont profiles after two years at the natural reef sites. We found that some individuals took up new symbionts but most did not.
