Pollutant Transfer Register (PRTR) INSPIRE View

Latvian Pollutant Transfer Register (PRTR) — contains annual information on emissions of chemicals and whole groups of substances from large installations in production facilities (sites) where installations for the operation of which it is necessary to obtain permits for carrying out polluting activities are used. Each year, data from the register is obtained from the largest environmental pollutants — operators of installations that have received category A or B permits for carrying out polluting activities. The EU registry on industrial sites is a data flow that collects information on the facilities, installations, and plants which are obliged to report under the European Pollutant Release and Transfer Register (E-PRTR Regulation 166/2006/EC) Regulation and the Industrial Emissions Directive (IED Directive 2010/75/EU).
