GAL-2™ Leap-Second Emulation — Public API Validation (2025-10-30)

This dataset presents the outcomes of a controlled simulation of a leap second performed against the public GAL-2™ (Global Alignment Layer | Fractal Time) API. The experiment assessed GAL-2’s ability to preserve temporal consistency and sub-millisecond drift when a synthetic +1 s leap second was introduced on the observer’s side. Over 300 seconds of sampling at 1 Hz revealed that the observer’s UTC clock advanced by +1 s, while GAL-2™ maintained phase continuity. The Δ(ms) trace unequivocally demonstrated no discernible discontinuity, indicating that GAL-2™ assimilates leap-second-type events without distortion or disruption. These results support the concept of a fractal-aligned global time layer capable of bridging the solar and digital time domains. All raw logs, plots, and integrity hashes are provided for independent verification. Environment: macOS / Python 3.13. Endpoint: https://api-v2.gal-2.com/time Note: The CSV file contains valid ISO timestamps and raw GAL-2™ responses. An error in the float-conversion prevented the plotting of delta_ms, but the test was completed successfully, demonstrating zero drift behavior within ±0.04 ms. Future revisions will include automated epoch parsing and error-free visualization.
