资源简介:
Cancer associated cachexia (CAC) causes white adipose tissue (WAT) lose by inhibiting adipogenesis, and promoting lipolysis, fat oxidation and browning. To uncover the specific lncRNAs and mRNAs involved in these processes, we used RNA microarray to identify the transcriptomes and found numerous lncRNAs and mRNAs differentially expressed in the fat tissue between CAC and normal mice. Colon-26 adenocarcinoma (C26) cells were subcutaneously inoculated into the flank of 6 syngeneic BALB/c mice to build cancer associated cachexia mice models. As a control group, 6 non-tumor-bearing littermate mice received the vehicle (PBS) only. All mice were euthanized at day 21 and dissected to harvest adipose tissue. To identify lncRNAs and mRNAs selectively involved in adipose wasting of cancer associated cachexia, inguinal white adipose tissue were analyzed by microarray assay.
