IL-27 plays a pivotal role in regulating complex immune responses. To evaluate the role of IL-27 in modulation in the expression of cellular and innate immunity-asscoiated genes in human epidermal keratinocytes (primary cells) and the monocytic THP-1 cell line (pre-treated with PMA) were stimulated with IL-27 and genome-wide expression of these cells were investigated utilizing microarray assay. Overall design: Human epidermal keratinocytes (primary cells) and the monocytic THP-1 cell line (pre-treated with PMA) were stimulated with IL-27 (100ng/ml); Stimulated) or vehicle control (Non-stimulated) and genome-wide expression of these cells were investigated utilizing U133 Plus microarray assay.
