Evaluation of the Management Plan (National Park Plan) of the Hohe Tauern Carinthia National Park

The Hohe Tauern Carinthia National Park created a management plan in 2001. Since then, it has not been revised or actively updated. Although the general principles (development goals according to the IUCN Directive) and target achievement strategies (e.g. contract nature protection and self-hunting) have not changed, a number of new developments, standards, trends and strategies and targets have been incorporated into the daily work of the National Park over the last 19 years. For this reason, the management plan was evaluated as preparation for a possible re-creation/revision.
