资源简介:
Synthetic sequence-defined macrocycles display unique properties and functions arising from their discrete chemical structure and ring topology. Recently, our group has developed a scalable synthetic platform for a novel class of these sequence-defined macrocycles (SD-MCs) that possess carbamate backbones. This proposal aims to investigate their self-assembling properties in bulk and solution through X-ray scattering measurements to extract quantitative and qualitative structural information on the nanometre level. Through a comprehensive understanding of structure-sequence-property relationships, rational design principals of these SD-MCs will be established for the development of advanced functional materials tailored for specific functions and applications.
