Article: The grandparents’ effects on grandchildren’s education: Evidence from rural India This article uses data from India Human Development Survey II conducted in 2011-12 (Desai and Vanneman, 2012). The data is available for download for the public after registration at the site: https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/web/DSDR/studies/36151 We use the following datasets of IHDS in this article: 1. Individual 2. Household 3. Eligible Women 4. Non Resident 5. Village The do file has commands to 1) to merge the above datasets and create one file, 2) to construct variables used in the analysis 3) to generate all tables/figures of descriptive satistics and 4) all regression analyses performed in the paper.
