Cupa encargada por Severina (siglo II d. C.)

Pequeña _cupa_ de arenisca procedente del núcleo urbano de Sofuentes pero que obraría en la necrópolis de la ciudad que, entre los siglos I a. C. y IV d. C. se asentó en la ladera del Cabezo Ladrero. Con capital rústica de calidad muy pobre, el texto recoge el epitafio de _Seuerina_ a su esposo, del quien aporta su gentilicio, _Valerius_, de cierta presencia en el catálogo epigráfico de Sofuentes, ciudad vecina a Los Bañales en la vía hacia el Pirineo. Se conserva en el Museo de Navarra. Small _cupa_ in local sandstone found in Sofuentes, but probably originally from the burial area of the Roman city of Cabezo Ladrero, which flourished between the 1st and 4th centuries AD. The text, engraved in a rough rustic capital script, is an epitaph dedicated by _Severina_ to her husband _Valerius_, a gentilicium well attested in the _corpus_ of inscriptions from Sofuentes, a Roman city close to Los Bañales on the way to the Pyrenees.
