Genome-wide identification of essential genes in Verrucomicrobium spinosum using transposon-directed insertion-site sequencing (TraDIS)

This project aims to identify genes essential for growth and survival of Verrucomicrobium spinosum under defined laboratory conditions using high-throughput transposon-directed insertion-site sequencing (TraDIS). A saturated transposon mutant library was constructed using the Tn5 transposon system and subjected to sequencing to determine insertion sites across the genome.
