Alkis building Wuppertal

The data set includes the floor plan geometries and attributes of the approximately 120,000 buildings in the urban area of Wuppertal from the Wuppertal Property Register. This building data is continuously updated by the competent cadastral authority (city of Wuppertal, department 102 surveying, cadastral office and spatial data) as part of the management of the real estate register in the specialist procedure “Official Property Register Information System (ALKIS)”. The data set summarises the objects from the ALKIS object classes AX_Gebaeude and AX_Turm. For each building, in addition to the layout geometry defined by the official surveying system in the GEB_TYP attribute, the building type (main building, outbuildings, outbuildings without main building, tower), the building function (value from an ALKIS catalog in the GEB_FKT attribute, e.g. “domestic house”), the building floor area in square meters (attributes ground for the non-continuous value of ALKIS and FLAECHE for the value calculated from coordinates) and in the Oeffentl attribute a distinction between public and non-public buildings. In addition, the dataset contains some other optional attributes to the building. The data is provided in ESRI-Shapefile, KML and GeoJSON formats. According to state law, the data set is under the Open Data license “Data License Germany — Zero — Version 2.0 (dl-zero-de/2.0)”.
