R Workspace and OpenStreetMap land polygons for Matthias Urban, "The geography and development of language isolates" (Royal Society Open Science)

The R workspace contains objects required facilitating the reproduction of analyses reported in the article "The geography and development of language isolates". How these objects were created is detailed in the R markdown file titled "Data_preparation_and_selection". The OpenStreetMap land polygons available at https://osmdata.openstreetmap.de/download/land-polygons-complete-4326.zip has been updated since the writing of the article; legacy versions are not available from the site. To facilitate reprocibility, the (now outdated) version used for the analyses reported in the article is made available here.
