Left-handers activate more bilaterally than right-handers during a simple motor task: a cross-sectional fNIRS study

This repository contains all the data and code needed to reproduce the analyses and figures from the study on hemodynamic lateralization measured by fNIRS during hand motor tasks in left-handed and right-handed individuals. The repository contains raw .nirs files for the 25 right-handed and 25 left-handed individduals the groupresult.mat files exported from Homer2 after preprocessing (for left-handed and right-handed) the MATLAB post-processing script used to compute channels/Region Of Interest hemodynamic responses and laterality index a summary spreadsheet with the per-subject/per-condition metrics and Laterality indices.
