This dataset is derived from the outcomes of the Second Soil Survey of Liaoning Province. It covers the area, distribution, core physical and chemical properties, productive performance, existing issues, soil amelioration measures and utilization directions of 237 soil species in Liaoning Province. The dataset is supplemented with both textual descriptions and visual materials, alongside detailed numerical data. It consolidates soil data resources from the black soil region of Northeast China, aiming to facilitate research and practical applications in crop cultivation, soil remediation and land planning within this region.
